Growing up with a limited TV vocabulary, and being as dumb as a rock about popular culture, but before Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Elite Daily, Upworthy, and all the news aggregators, taste-makers, and what-sayers, I loved a simple show called Best Week Ever. It was horrible but it was necessary.
This video is nothing like Best Week Ever, but it’s close. It’s a video review of the Reuters’ POY 2013 (Photographs of the Year two thousand thirteen). Some of these photographs are amazing, some astonishing, some even thrilling, but none of them quite like my favorite at the 25th second mark. That photo is why I love photography.
