I’ll just start off by saying that the music to this video is kind of distracting. I guess I don’t like EDM (electronic dance music for those in the dark). Or maybe I just don’t like EDM accompanying this specific video. In my mind a sexy Lingerie & Corsetry shoot isn’t underscored by a frenetic electronic beat. That just doesn’t sit right with me. I imagine it as a shoot accompanied with the softest of piccolo, interjected by a bongo played in staccato, following the faintest whispers saying, Yes continue.
That being said, I do think this a great fly-on-the-wall video about what happens in a professional lingerie/fashion shoot. It does offer a quick glimpse into how famed fashion photographer Karl Taylor gets his work done. Although, like I mentioned before, there’s more electronic thumps and whistles than actual speaking, you’ll still get to see how Taylor handles his lighting setups, directs his subjects, and goes through his workflow.
