Celebrity photographer Brian Bowen Smith, whose photos have covered GQ, Elle, and Cosmopolitan (to name a few), spoke for Chicago Ideas Week, and related his experiences photographing Hilary Swank, Matthew Fox, and Gabrielle Union. But, most importantly, he gives some helpful advice on working with what you got, setting yourself apart, and not giving a crap about everyone’s opinion.
