The Best Video Tutorials on Long Exposure

We are proud to present these amazing video tutorials on long exposure and still photography. The course comes in three clear, well organized parts.

Here are all the topics included.

Long Exposure & Still Photography Tutorial Cover Pages

Part 1: Algarve Wind Farm

In this part, you get the basic fundamentals of the process of creating a photograph with Long Exposure and Still Image.
Even a novice will have no trouble with this walk-through of the Algarve Wind Farm image as an example.
The only background you need is the ability to use Photoshop backgrounds and masks.

Part 2: Southern Strait Boats

This part takes you to the next level above the fundamentals.
It gives you a detailed demonstration of the technique of “pre-visioning” your Long Exposure and Still image.
The images of Southern Straits #1 and #2 are used as a hands-on demonstration of the process.

Part 3: Kite Surfers Image

This final part takes you to an advanced level. Beyond the basics, you will learn the skill set for capturing your artistic vision.
The Kite Surfers image is used as an example. This course requires knowledge of Photoshop masks and layers, as well as the basics of Long Exposure and Still Photography, acquired in the first two tutorials.

The Easiest and Best Way to Learn Long Exposure + Still Photography

Long exposure is becoming increasingly popular among photographers right now. But after a while, unless you learn new skills, every long exposure image begins to look the same.

The last thing you need is to go over the same ground again and again. With the skills learned in this course, you will have the confidence to try some different things with your next landscape or seascape.

The result will be photography that definitely stands out from the crowd. After all, no one is going to give a second glance to yet another beach scene or mountain view. There are so many of them! But with unparalleled skill in long exposure and still photography, you can produce images that will definitely get a second look.

For one thing, this is the only video tutorial for photographers which teaches the art of “pre-visioning.” The idea is that you have a road map to follow, a goal in mind, a direction. Of course, you are always free to change the plan in the name of creativity. But having a plan before you start makes a huge difference. Also, this is the best hands-on instruction guide you’ll find for using Photoshop effectively. These are not just vague instructions. They are practical, step-by-step walk-throughs of the entire process.

There are other tutorials about compositing, which give the technical how-to’s of the process, but they oftentimes lack showing the VISION of the artist. Sharon Tenenbaum very generously shares her PRE-VISUALIZATION concepts. She then incorporates them into the designing of fine art images that have both long exposure and still photography elements. She puts the ART back into workflows which are all too technically correct, but lack heART.
