This gorgeous music video teaser will leave you wondering why you haven’t experimented with lighting like this before. Released about a week ago, the trippy video visually demonstrates what every photographer–not to mention filmmaker–already knows.

Light as well as color and how they’re used spatially will greatly affect the mood and meaning of whatever it is you’re capturing. The lighting setup was made cheaply, consisting only of two 10 x 10 LEDs and a string of Christmas lights, all rotated around the actress’s face.
