It’s amazing that portrait photographer Jonathan Mannion has another potential Reasonable Doubt album cover in his stacks of selects. It really impresses me. I don’t know why. Maybe I thought album covers — like every other iconic photo — were singular and created out of the blue in one complete and innocent fell swoop. Like a miracle or really good joke.
That’s not the case. And this video proves it. Selecting your best photo to create a portfolio vis hard. It’s similar to picking the best time of your childhood. Could you even whittle it down to a couple days? An hour? A moment? I can’t but that’s why I’m not into editing anything. You have to be decisive when picking the best. You must also have a critical eye. And that’s rare, but this video will give you a couple insights though.
Enjoy!
