Wedding photography is a tight-rope act. The stakes are high, and the considerations are numerous – more than think. You see, your responsibilities don’t just begin on ‘The D-Day.’
They start much before that with the deceptively simple ‘Save-The-Date’ photoshoot.
The couple wants to share the big news with the world, and your work of art is going to be the medium for it. Though you thought shooting the newly betrothed would be the hard part it turns out that you’re wrong, making the card itself is.
The save-the-date card is in many ways the prologue to the wedding, and it’s your responsibility to make it look appealing.
If that doesn’t make you nervous, I don’t know what will.
That’s why I’m here to tell you about the new PhotoWhoa PSD templates for wedding photographers.
This bundled package of 5 templates gives you 5 totally different ways to make your save-the-date card.
They vary greatly in design and composition, giving you a full creative spectrum. Every template feature a front and back design and they also tell you exactly where to place all of the pertinent information. i.e. “save the date,” the couple’s names, the date, and the location.
Furthermore, they are 100% free. That’s right, purchasing this product costs a total of 0 dollars and 0 cents. Consider it a ‘thank you’ for being a PhotoWhoa member
More About The Templates
The first template features a silver front. All the pertinent information is communicated in an eggshell lettering with a tasteful marquee. The back keeps it minimalist with a maroon background and a pink geometric pattern.
The second template features a silver top half and a pale orange bottom. Starting from the center and going down, all the information is mentioned in white and orange lettering. The back is simply pinstriped in 2 different shades of orange. At the bottom left corner, there is a bold watermark design for the initials of the betrothed’ first names.
People who love black are going to love this template. The third template is clean and straightforward. The front is all black. Along the bottom reads ‘love’ in large letters.
The back is a multi-colored design. The top third is rustic orange, the middle is black, and the bottom is once again rustic orange. All of the pertinent information can be found in the top third in stylish white lettering.
The fourth template is my favorite. The front features a solid black background with 2 solid white lines. Where the lines converge features a white box with black lettering where you place the betrothed first names.
Contrast is king here. The back has a white background with a thick red border. The other important information can be found in the center, in stylish lettering and black font.
The fifth template features a black front. All of the pertinent information can be found at the top in bold silver lettering.
The back is comprised of a turquoise background. However in the center is a black rectangle. Just under the rectangle reads “TRUE LOVE” in simple white lettering.
